Honoring Cathy Milton and Alice Peisch

On May 21, 2008 HRS will honor Cathy Milton and Alice Peisch with the third annual Arnold Kerzner Award Dinner and Auction.

Cathy Milton is a Special Education Resource Teacher, Claypit Hill Elementary School, Wayland; and Alice Peisch is a Massachusetts State Representative for the 14th Norfolk District, Wellesley, Weston and South Natick.

These two women have made outstanding contributions to the health and well-being of our children and families in our communities. Cathy is a legendary special educator whose skill and caring have made a material difference in the lives of hundreds of students – and their parents.  Alice has served with distinction in both town and state

government, where she has worked steadfastly to improve the funding for and quality of human services.

Join event co-chairs Janet and John Pattillo and Sandy and Joe Avellone, and emcee and auctioneer Susan Wornick of WCVB-TV.   We will celebrate with celebrity chefs from Sel de la Terre, Maxwell’s 148, Vela, and Finale Dessert Company, and will enjoy specially selected wines from Lower Falls Wine Co.  In addition, we will have a silent and live auction, and musical performances.  All proceeds from the Award Dinner and Auction help to offset the challenges brought on by changes in the economy, and reductions in health care funding, and allows HRS to be available to all who need its services.  To reserve a table or tickets, or for more information, please contact HRS’s Director of Development, Donna Poretsky at 781-235-4950 or dporetsky@hrshelps.org or KMC productions at 781-356-6616.
